Presentation & Reconstitution
Supplied as a white-to-light-yellow lyophilisate in a clear glass vial. Upon reconstitution with preservative-free 0.9 % saline, it yields a transparent solution.
Indications
KAIMAX is indicated for temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines in adults (19–65 years). It also treats forehead creases, crow’s feet, and masseter muscle issues such as bruxism and jaw clenching.
Preparation & Dilution
Reconstitute each vial to 200 U / 5 mL (4 U / 0.1 mL) using sterile 0.9 % sodium chloride. Inject diluent slowly to avoid foam. Label with dissolution date and time. Store reconstituted product at 2–8 °C and use within 24 hours. Discard any vial used on multiple patients, as no preservatives are present.
Storage & Shelf Life
Maintain unopened vials at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F). Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Shelf life is three years from manufacture.
Usage Notes
Inspect reconstituted solution for clarity and absence of particulates before injection. Administer intramuscularly according to clinical guidelines, adjusting dosage to patient anatomy and treatment goals.
